Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all services provided by IDrive® including but not limited to IDrive®, IDrive® e2, IDrive® 360 Endpoint Backup, IDrive® Mirror, IBackup®, and RemotePC™ (collectively referred to as "Services"), operated by IDrive Inc. By using any of these Services, you agree to comply with this AUP, which is designed to protect the integrity, security, and reliability of our network and Services for all users.
You must not use the Services to:
- Engage in any unlawful activity, or store, transmit, or disseminate material in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
- Upload, transmit, or distribute any viruses, malware, spyware, or other harmful software.
- Engage in phishing, spoofing, or other deceptive practices.
- Send spam, chain letters, junk email, or engage in network flooding.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or networks.
- Interfere with or disrupt the security or performance of the Services or networks connected to the Services.
- Infringe upon any intellectual property or proprietary rights of others.
- Violate applicable export control laws or regulations.
- Use the Services to store, distribute, or transmit material involving child sexual exploitation or abuse.
- Use the Services for excessive or automated activity that degrades system performance, such as cryptocurrency mining, network scanning, or stress testing, without prior authorization.
In the event that your use of the Service is adversely affecting the operation of the Service, your Service may be terminated by us without liability to IDrive Inc., its suppliers, or other end users. If your use of the Service is adversely affecting the effectiveness of the Service for other end users, or to preserve system integrity or prevent network abuse, a notice shall be provided to you via e-mail promptly following such emergency termination. You are responsible for updating us as to any changes to your email and contact information to facilitate communication of these notices by updating your profile information via the web interface.
Unless otherwise noted, this AUP applies uniformly to all Services. If a particular Service has additional restrictions, such requirements will be published on the applicable Service’s website or user documentation.
Violations of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account, removal of offending material, legal action, and/or cooperation with law enforcement authorities.
We reserve the right to modify this AUP at any time by posting a revised version on our websites. Continued use of the Services after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified AUP.
